E-Commerce is it a viable business for us ordinary guys and gals?
E-Commerce and the Worldwide Web has been growing exponentially for years. Almost all the major retailers and most of the smaller ones allow you to buy there products online these days. Amazon, Ebay and other web companies make it very easy for you buy or offer products of your very own.
The Internets scope and accessibility provide a terrific opportunity for someone to set up an online home business, either selling there own products, or selling other peoples products as an affiliate. In reality there are already thousands of home based entrepreneurs doing just that, I and my son are just one of those thousands and some are incredibly successful earning tens of thousands of Dollars, Pounds, Euros etc per month.
However, it is not always particularly easy for a beginner to set up there own niche e-commerce site. The novice home based entrepreneur needs to master and understand a number of things to be able to achieve success and to name just a few of them:
- A micro-niche that doesn’t have an overwhelming amount of competition
- Products to sell
- A website that presents and converts visits to sales effectively
- An effective promotional campaign to attract traffic to there website
- A way to take payment for those products
- A way to ship products to the customer
- The knowledge about setting up a business
In recent years incredibly successful niche sites with very little competition have been set up on online that sell unusual products like train horns, wheels for remote control toys, video game cheats, and the list goes on. In fact two of Tim Godfrey’s and Steve Clayton’s partners in Niche Blueprint 2.0 the brothers Mike and Dave Hermansen got a site selling bird cages to achieve over $6,000 per month in sales, then sold the site for $173,000. This was all over Fox News and the New York Times not so long ago.
There are literally millions of potential niches available. One very important element to success is having a blueprint to finding and selecting the niche or niches you are going to set up in.
It is extremely important that you make your site SEO friendly to attract lots of targeted visitors. Paypal is a commonly used Payment processor and thankfully it is relatively easy to set up. You’ll also want a drop ship supplier to handle delivery of the products you sell unless you what to stock, wrap, address and post them yourself.
There are thousands upon thousands of wholesalers and drop shippers who are more than happy to have lots of other people selling more of their goods. With E-commerce websites it is advantageous to have a relevant domain name. Also you’ll need a hosting company and of course an online store layout designed.
You would of course need some kind of business plan, that you can follow, so that it completely breaks down all the steps you need into the small, manageable and easy to follow steps you need to take, so that you can establish your niche e-commerce online business. You can of course plan and write your own business plan, but unless you really know what you are doing then maybe this isn’t such a good option.
There are a great number of business and online guides you can buy to help you do this but the best I have every come across for an Online E-Commerce business was Niche blueprint that was launched just a year ago, which proved so popular that it sold more that 5000 copies in 36 hours before it was taken off of the market to enable them to service and support there customers.
But roll on a year later and Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey the creators of the original Niche Blueprint course having beefed up there support team to enable them to properly support many more customers and on the 11th of January they are launching Niche Blueprint 2.0 which is a very much improved version of the original step by step course with a lot of included software to make the research, planing and implementation of a niche ecommerce site even easier than the first course.
But of course your success will almost be entirely dependent on your efforts, Steve & Tim can only show you how, give you the tools necessary and show you how to use those tools, but unless you actually follow through and do the work you are wasting your time and money buying the course . So do you have the time available? Will you be able to keep up the level of learning and effort that will be required to succeed? Only you can answer those questions, it isn’t hard but does take effort and commitment.
If you have then you would be able to start your own niche e-commerce business, and if you follow Tim and Steve’s blueprint exactly, then you too could be on your way to your own business and earning thousands of dollars per month . Many other ordinary people have done it with Tim and Steve’s e-commerce course. There is no reason in the world why you could not do it as well so go look at the Niche Blueprint 2.0 overview.
